A wad file is usually a file that, once installed, will become a channel, but can also be a patch or something else of the sort like the cios wad file. it is a rar file so if you dont already have an archive manager that supports rar, google winrar. Funny thing, if the sd card is greater than 2 gigabytes in size the wii has trouble recognizing it. If you have Neo Geo ROM files on your computer, you can inject them into a NEO GEO WAD file to make them ready to install on the Wii console. NDEV wads are encrypted with the 'NDEV Common Key'.
i chose that wad because, since nintendo didnt make it, they cant call piracy on you for stealing it. How to make wii wads thats the only one i tried, but feel free to try others.
